Alkalinity?

Dumb Question? But I have an Alkalinity test kit, need a PH test kit.. Can I use Alkalinity as an indicator of PH?

no because ph can be skewed by different things. just having too much co2 in house, having a monitor that watches it all day is best way to watch it. but if your worried then a test kit is the best way.

Thought so... I want to use Kalkwasser, have a container w some IV drip tubing I got from a kit I had in nursing school w a clamp to adjust drip rates, just want to make sure I dont overdose my tank.....:)
