I've noticed an abundance of micro-bubbles coming out of the return piping. I will be taking a closer look into that later.

Dang. That thing looks brand new. Looks good. I noticed a lot of micro bubbles when the water line was too high or too low.

Yep, they are a bit sensitive to water level. I had to use a delay whenever coming out of standby mode on my controller or else I'd ovflow the skimmer cup every time.
