Heard on ReefCentral some having success if introduced at same time...not sure I would risk it

To be safe I would find 2 that are already together. Alton has a pair of flames I believe in the same tank. He will chime in I'm sure.

I had a cherub, fisheri, and coral beauty all together for a while. I know of others that have been successful in keeping more than one.
I don't recommend it though. Too much left to chance.

I've kept multiple pygmy angels in my 240g, 125g, and now in my 180g. I have never kept two identical angels though.

I took a full adult male that I got from Rob and added a baby that I got from TT and joined them in a 300 with a ton of birdsnest that the baby was able to hide and escape to. After several months the male no longer went after the female but enacted in several dances and about a month ago I watched them spawn. Some believe that juvenile angels are females and that adults become males if none are present. Matt Pederson has several articles on creating pairs with rock beauty angels and queens. Copps (I can't remember his first name) did it with Imperator angels and regals. Typical way is to section off a tank to where they cannot get to each other for several weeks.

Here is a link to Matts setup on Pairing Rock Beauties, it would probably work for Flames
