I know a few that don't, but do any of our local retailers accept Paypal? Why not?

Phenominal I believe accepts credit cards via the paypal credit card machine (it's a plastic swiper that hooks onto the ipad/iphone)

Also, paypal isn't the cheapest way for people to accept payments. Either the retailer, or you would have to take a % of the charge off their total to account for paypal fees.

It seems the equivalent of a retailer accepting credit cards which is probably why most don't accept paypal as they're already beholden to their credit card processor.

If you upgrade your paypal account to a merchant account you can get a paypal debit card so you can spend your money wherever mastercard is accepted.

I have a bunch of other hobbies...guns, racecars, etc....and have done a bunch of PayPal transactions without issue. I sold a dragster to a guy in Aruba and took a couple $8k payments without any issues.
