sorta bummed....

So I got bored a minute ago and really didnt like the look of the 2 sols with the one vega and decided to hang up the other 2.

Well my luck one I noticed fan was turned on as soon as I plugged it in, thought weird but oh well.... So I go to program them and one is not responding.... I notice only 3 of the 4 pucks is barely lit and the status light on the back is flashing red and green, the fan is still spinning too....

Just my luck, the last one I installed too....

well I have the other 2 programmed using to quick setting, awesome BTW, and I am hoping its a issue that will resolve itself overnight.... which I doubt.....


AI's site sucks for help, I tried restarting it with no luck either....:bareteeth:

ya just the 3 vega's...

I only had one installed with 2 sol's to try them out. And I wanted more so went ahead and hung the other 2 and removed the sol's..... One of the new ones is buggin out..... They were all new scooped up last week and barely hooked up today..

Good news....


Well AI which has bad-as CS was willing to ship out a new unit but since they are producing more, it would be a wait.... Or they could ship a new power board right now and claim its a easy 3 minute install.... Which I'm sure it is but I'm sure they put that in there for less inclined folks..... So the new board will be in the mail today...

So while packing up my sols for resell I decided to open up the vega to see what's going on, and sure enough

I don't see any solder on the other connections but they are held on.... This one is completely off the board...

Now for you tech folks.... Is this a paste or just a good solder connection I cannot see? If I solder it, it will look like crap and I'm sure void any future warranties.....

So if someone can offer advice please help....

John I would gladly take a new unit but too impatient to wait. There staff was quick to answer this morning and have returned 4 or 5 emails since 8 this morning.... Very cool.

Rrasco it doesn't look like they are soldered.... Might just be real fine..

This is the actual unit they are sending a replacement part which I might not need if I can find a way to attach this one.....
