AC70 dimensions

Does anyone have an ac70 that they can measure the lxwxh of the actual filter box itself?

I looked this up last night. 8.5" long, 8" tall,and it said depth was 6"

I started planning out another project last night and found a bunch of mods for the AC's

Is this the full dimensions or just the dimensions of the filter box? I'm looking for just the actual box that holds the media.

I'm using the AC70 with a surface skimmer attachment for my pico tank and trying to see which heater fits the bill.

I think online people said the hydor 50w theo works well.

check out the cobalt heaters. I saw them at MACNA. Looked promising.

Cobalt looks good, but is it it 20$ more expensive good? It'll be plugged into an RKL so I don't think accuracy is too big an issue. If i was mounting it in the DT then I'd go cobalt for sure
