Yea right, scale tall fences of a 16 million dollar mansion to steal KOI....and 100+ of them at that....psshh right.
On a side note, don't want to jack your thread Tony but I will have some KOI up for sale soon, so be on the lookout guys...just saying.

IMO they didn't get stolen. But I would rather get into what I think but I've seen this before by millionaires with a lot invested into animals.
And yes fresh water is to easy to keep. Lol

A few years ago my parents put a pond in their back yard. My dad went to a koi farm to buy some fish. He called me that afternoon telling what he saw. Koi selling from 1,000 to $5,000 each. I Didn't believe it. I checked the sight myself and sure enough some of the koi sell for top dollar. There is a place east of san antonio called water gardens http://www.watergardengems.com. They have koi priced at 1,000 each. My understanding there are some show koi that sell in the 10,000 range or more. So these fish thieves knew exactly what they were doing.
