I feel it should be mentioned that while we all feel a sense of family amongst folks we chat with on here, there are others perusing these posts.

Please don't list your phone numbers. If the person wants something, they can pm you. I'd hate for something to happen that didn't need to happen.

This is, obviously, just a recommendation. A strong recommendation.

Yes just common sense, but we all need a reminder now and then. Especially with the holidays coming up, just a suggestion on not documenting your out of town plans. No sense letting the Internet know exactly when you will be away from home, leaving your house easier to burglarize. We are all a big family, but you never know who else is watching.

True, Mike.

We should all be keeping an eye out for each other and remind others that do post, that its not necessarily a good idea to broadcast personal info.

Acceptable phone #'s to post;

- anything starting with a pre-fix of 555

- or that's guy's phone # that I saw on the bumper sticker. Something about if I didn't like his driving to call 1-800-EAT-, but I can't remember the rest of the #.

Ya, I meant to change my number so Chris wouldn't text me anymore.

In all seriousness though, we have to be very careful of what info we give out freely. It is already too easy for someone to get your contact information. We will bump this thread up for a while so everyone can have a chance to read it. Please be careful when posting.

It is nice to be a close group, but there are always bad seeds in the bunch. Also, there are several unregistered guests that can access the site everyday. Be a buddy and remind others if you see something posted out there that shouldn't be.

Thanks everyone.

No, it wasn't JT. JT's sense of humor is a bit dry sometimes. He makes more sense in person. :-)

JT was the suspect for that? Lol. He is a little shady. But he needs to teach a class on catching fish and not messing up rock or coral. Most impressive.

Someone had made a comment that seemed to suspect him. It really seemed absurd.

No, when that kid was claiming someone had stolen a few of his fish, JT posted a for sale thread for the same fish. He didn't have them, he was just poking the kid that had lost the fish. I believe we removed the thread.

JT wasn't truly a suspect.
