Just looking to get a feel for what % intensity everyone is running their AI Sols. Also what is your tank depth? My tank is 30" deep. I control mine with GHL Prfilux 3 controller. With Profilux I control each led, and the max I am going to is 45%. I just switched all my lenses to 70 degree optics. I want to crank these up slowly, but was just curious how high some people are running them. Also if anyone wants some 40 degree optics I have 24 of them sitting in a box...

I am running a mixture of 40 and 70 degree lens. I put 70s over my high Rick peaks, to reduce change of burning corals during acclimation... 40s over deeper parts of the tank to get some punch down to my chalices...
You are using the sol whites so have a lot more white then us blue users....
But mine peak for 2 hours with white around 60 and RB and B at 90..
For the 8hrs of day light my lights ramp up to 30 white and 60 blue..
Something like that.....

I'm driving myself nutts again with these sol vega's...
Can't wait till they release director with preset spectrums..... I am lost with the addition of red and green..... I am going to mimic my white, blue and DB that I have been using on my sols..... Guess I will just figure out the green and red...

I'm running SOL whites but I've replaced some of the pucks with sol blues so its sort of a mix...but I also run 6 Panorama Pros, which are not dimmable. I'm just trying to keep a balance that looks like my old tank (20k radium MHs). I think I may be setup a bit week on my lighting schedule, but with the 6 Panorama Pros I'm not sure how much I should be cranking the Sols. Maybe the Panoramas are not as strong as I am thinking and I should just friggin go for it with the Sols.

Kinda hard too with LEDs supposedly not reading correctly with par meters...
But I used one and it gave me a basis to go on.... Louis said its out at the moment but should have it back soon, might want to look and see...
Would be good to find out if the panoramas are doing enough for you first then the sols....

Same problem I had Randy. The led lights trick your eyes a little by making you think they are brighter than the really are. Probably doesn't help at all, but I am running my two sol blues at 95% blue ,95% royal blue, and 80% white for a max of 5 hours then the rest ofthe time it is lower.
