So i was running around for Black Friday today trying to find a good deal on a laptop for school. And we stopped off at petsmart to look at ferret stuff. Well i of course gravitated toward the fish aisle to see prices and sales. And i saw the fluval spec was 50 bucks off today down to 49.99 and i had a 30 dollar gift card from doing a petsmart survey... well. Needless to say. My tinkering side kicked in an i nabbed the spec. Thought it was an interesting design. Only cost me 20 bucks. And i have everything else to get it going. So starts another nano. But a clean. Minimalist nano ha ha.

Petsmart just started renting carpet washing machines and i was one of the first ones to rent the machine. I took a survey on my experience and i got everything i paid to rent it back. So yes ha ha.

I'm not going to do anything crazy. Just some macro LR and maybe some shrimp and a small fish. Not going to upgrade the light. Don't know if this light can do any kind of coral. It says 37 "HO" leds. But doubt that.

Got some sand in. Did a five gallon water change on the 92 and put that water in the tank. Will snag some LR out of my tanks tomorrow. Little day and night shots.

How many gallons is that thing? I need a nice little tank for my desk at work.

5 gallons. The 50 bucks off was only for yesterday. So it should be back at 99 bucks today. Maybe.

Ha ha. I might give them a shot. I have three colonies of them because of you. Those things are almost as bad as faerie dust palys. I might toss some lower light softies in there to see how they do.
