i have finally seen a tank that would make me want to use MHs... No lie.
not just yet though.... ;)
but would like to see it in person one day.... You are running a chiller, correct?

Thanks! Yeah, I run a 1/3 hp chiller and it runs A LOT during the summer. The 250w lights would cook the tank w/o the chiller.

Great pics. What settings are you using. Shutter speed, aperture ,ISO , lens etc....
I usually set the camera to let me control the aperture and let it calculate the shutter speed. White balance is the main thing that really helps. I used a grey card under the tank lights and let the camera set the custom white balance.
For these pics, here are the settings:
Lens: Nikon 10-55mm
Aperture: 5
Shutter Speed: 1/50th of a second
ISO: 600
White Balance: Custom setting

Yep, that's the one. It's finally starting to table out. The red polyps are a little retracted right now, but that coral glows under actinics.
