Waiting for my power to be restored so I know my tank won't crash overnight. Glad I was awake to unplug my skimmer.

Cuz I don't have my controller finished yet to delay start it. Sump level is high since return is off.

Me too but sump level still rises with power outage.

No power still, now I'm getting nervous. They said 4am or later. Great.

I heard the storms but fell back to sleep...

Speaking of storms, I played with the storm settings on my controller yesterday. My first simulation I had the flow/wave stuff set too high and caused one heck of a sandy mess in the tank. Lightning and clouds were cool, I had a slow moving dark spot hovering around the tank, then dimming, then lighting. Pretty cool feature as long as you have the flow percentages tuned low.

Power did come back on, about 5. I went to bed around 3:30 or 4:00 waiting, to no avail. Before I did though I pulled out an air tube and used my human-powered air pump at an attempt of re-oxygenating the water. I heard the power kick on, it turned on all my stuff (AC, TV, etc), so I got up and made sure everything powered on correctly and put my skimmer back online. Man I need a UPS or a generator. That was really unsettling waiting 4 hours without power.

Thing about this was the power went out before the storm hit. At the time, I didn't even know there was a storm. That's probably what took them so long to fix it.
