Here is my pico tank, its been nice keeping it simple. No skimmer, sump, ato, dosing........nothing but weekly water changes and attention drawn away from the tv staring at my new water holder. It's currently been "cycling" for 2 weeks now and all levels checked out today.....coral and inverts soon to follow.
Specs:
5.5 gallon EcoPico rimless glass cage 10"x10"x12"
Aquaclear 30 HOB filter
25 watt heater
6" Wave Point HO led fixture
7 lbs of live rock
2" live sand bed
The wave point is great, nice crisp 20k look with great shimmer and lights the tank completely. I myself prefer more of a 14k look so I added a small led strip to offset the 20k look.

Also I figured with no overflow there would be an oil slick at the top of water column. So I saw a build on another site on how to combat the oil slick with a standard HOB filter. Its basically a "T" with a 90 degree attached to that with a small piece of pvc slipped into the 90 that goes to the top of the water column. It took some tickering but it works great, no oil slick
