Thoughts on the listed reactor? Here's a link: http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_viewitem.aspx?idproduct=TL4311&child=TL4311&utm_source=adwordsfroogle&utm_medium=cse&utm_campaign=adwordsfroogle&utm_content=TL4311&gclid=CICqhdCur7MCFXCmPAodk1YAIg.

Know of a cheaper one that is still quality?

I just bought a MR1 reactor yesterday from Louis.... And have to say, I couldn't be happier with quality.... It's awesome to look at..

I was going to go with the one you are looking at but some of the reviews left me wondering if I should just spend a little more....

Mine came with a pump and all the needed accessories.. Left all the guess work as far as which is the correct pump and all that...

It's so sweet to look at.... Lol

I'm interested in the smaller unit that Louis has in stock, but $79 is a little too steep right now. It is an MR1 also.

There was someone on here selling a new little fishes brand...

the two little fishes one and the kent one are both poor products with cheap plastic and o-rings that rarely fit properly. I used to own the two little fishes one and now own the kent one. It works though but I had salt creep leaks on both. The KENT one resealed all of the potential leak areas and it works great now. I suggest doing the same if you get either just to be safe. Much easier to seal them before use versus waiting to find out if you will get a problem and then having to tear it down.

I run carbon in a tlf 150 and I have to put it inside my sump. I wouldn't buy it unless you want to stick it in the sump to counteract the leaking.

unless you seal the thing... that's what I had to do to mine...no leaks now...can't believe they can charge more than $25 for these things. Seriously.. they are some cruddy products.

They really don't look like all that much. There's just not much to them.
