I'm considering making the switch to metal halide with LED supplementation and to do so I'll be getting rid of my two slimline fixtures.
These fixtures both need a little work but even as is they light up my 20 long.
On one fixture, one white led is out and on the second fixture, two whites are out.
I've spoken to John at Slimline and he's said depending on what is exactly wrong they can replace the led's or the board at your cost. They said it wouldn't be too much, especially if it was just the LED.
I tried fixing it but I don't feel comfortable soldering on a board.
So, I'm looking to unload these together for 250 OBO. Each of these retail alone for 299.
This is the GEN 2 model with the 24 hour built in timers that ramp from:
Actinics
1x White
Full white+ Blue
1x White
Actinics
Moonlight
It will include the remote to control color temp.
These will be available after my tank has made the switch to metal halide.
I'm picking up the fixture this week, then another 2 weeks to build/ acclimate so I'm saying they will be available around the 16th of November at the latest.
I can do partial trade for corals/ equipment (mainly looking for PC4's for RKL or a net module).
PM/ text would be the best way to reach me and I'll be checking time stamps to see who was first.
I will hold these with a 20$ non refundable hold and when the time comes to actually sell them I can mail them (buyer's cost) or we can meet somewhere when I'm back in SA or you can meet me in SM, either works for me.
