Thanks Cory! The german blue hasnt been growing as fast as my other acros. Ive read that it is a slow grower. The red dragon was a bit pricey

i had one years ago and it was doing great and i let it die when it feel in back corner.... i wasnt into sps as i am now. if it was now i would have ripped apart tank for it

Like I said my SPS are doing good under my LEDs...... Without the added heat or algae blooms... Like that awesome cyano u had going on.... Lol

bio pellets is cause of the cyano, I topped off so it cycled again. I'll post some growth pics later show results of one 2 months growth flesh can't keep up!

i think he just uses two part Bernie is very minimal on what he does....... also he uses 10k to grow out then switches bluer bulb to color.(i may be wrong)see what he says

Chris is correct. I use DIY 2 part for alk and cal, 10k evc hqi for growth, good skimmer (SRO 3000), and gfo. Water changes are done every three months or so.
