Hello everyone, I wanted to make a thread showing this tanks progression. Right now im just leisurely looking for a 100+gal as an upgrade. Wanting to have it up and running in January.

This is after I installed the tunze wavemaker box.

This is recent. After cycling all the live rock they are now in place and the fish love it.

So now im on the hunt for new lights. I dont feel they are powerful enough for me to put the corals I want in there. Thinking about metal halide and t5. Right now I only have T5's and they feel really weak. But then I see led's but im not sure how big of a panel I will need? So if anyone has any input about led's size for a 48" aquarium I would greatly appreciate it.

And also I have been having one heck of a problem with air bubbles in the overflow tube since the wavemaker got installed. Should I move down to a 3/4 overflow tube instead of a 1"? Or do you guys have a better idea? Right now it goes from not sucking anything in to sucking a lot so there are bubbles and its just a matter of time before they fill up the tube so there is no suction. So basically every 3 days I have to go in and syphon the air out.

Lmao you didn't look up buddy. I have t5's lol. My question was would you guys move up to halide and t5 or would you move over to led and if you would go led what size panels do I need?

Love halides personally. Been eyeing the 36inch system.

The ballasts and bulbs on the fixtures are pretty bad but with a new bulb and a used ballast (or new) you could still come in well under a name brand fixture with great results.
