After all of this work http://www.maast.org/showthread.php?71843-New-to-area-and-setting-g-up-a-nano

I came home today, cleaned the tank and noticed an exposed seam. Checked it out and there was salt crep, than I saw water all over. And it got worst when slightly pressed on the front.
than the seam broke!
It was a full blown flow coming out, all I have is Tupperware, so I'm sure it would be amusing to watch me rushing around with small containers and a pot to drain the tank.

Ive never had a tank crack on me!
Its acrylic, can it be resealed?

If not, I'm screwed. Its a custom stand that won't work for any tank.

dont worry, I had a spare 10g and a 3g that I got everything into.

maybe. if you want to bring it by, i can take a look at it for you. if not, with your carpentry skills, you could probably build a replacement out of acrylic.

Thanks ace, I got the tank from precision marine, it was an old Darby rack tank so I'm sure its old. I'm going to check with Mike see if he can reseal it or possibly make a new one.

On the good note, with the tank out I can paint and heavily seal all the seams where the tank goes.
also can cut out my holes for fans. Also would like to bring it back to the shop and give it a couple coats of clear with the sprayer.
the rattle can laquer doesn't finish as well. At the time I had no idea we had a sprayer.
