View Full Version : Upside down jellyfish in my tank?

I have several small what look like small jellyfish the move just like them and have a mushroom top. Im not sure what they are and I'm hoping someone may know if they are jellyfish or a parasite I haven't learn how to post pictures yet lol

When I say small I mean they are a little bigger than pin head sized

I agree.
also, if you're using an iPhone then tapatalk is the easiest way to post pics from it.

Can you explain the process I would go through I really can't figure out how to post pictures :-( if they are hydroids how bad are they and how do I get rid of them?

Google hydroids and see if they match up to what what you are seeing.
Most of the reading I have done says they just kind of disappear after a while. Mostly the issue of them appearing are in new tanks.

That's what I was kind of reading also... We sucked them all out anyways and freshwater dipped one rock that looked like they were hatching from. Thanks for the help!
