Holy crap bro. That is a weird one. I've been followed by a bear before. Pretty sure he wanted to eat me though ha ha. Cool find. Ehy was the neighbor acting shady? I believe they are legal. Forever sells them so do a couple other stores.

I would hang on to it until I found it's true owner. A sulcata that size is worth a few hundred at least. Especially if it is a female.

Cause the guy is on the city council or something like that in balconie heights, where my sis lives..... He said if the cops came they would know it was his turtle.....

He did say he knew the guy and would get it back..... Hopefully he does cause that was messed up of that other guy knowing it wasn't his turtle and taking it...

The real owner says he gets out every now and then.... Well he lives about 10 houses down.... And these are no cookie cutter sized yards either..... My sisters house sits on close to a acre and most of the lots are about the same size...

It's funny how those things bother you when you get older.

I remember catching snakes when I was a kid in California, never bothered me. Caught one in TN and gave it to my son to play with before turning it loose. The thing smelled like the south side of a north bound horse.

Ya.... We use to play in the creek by our house when we were younger catching all types of critters. The mud was nasty in there and so thick our shoes would sometimes come loose and get stuck in there... Idk how our parents didn't beat us for coming home like that.... Lol then we wouldn't want to bathe.

good times....
