Tyree green birds nest

Well, spoke to soon. My BN is receding from the base up. Seems like the skin is just peeling back.

It does this to me every time it gets big. Of course I've moved it a few times over the last week so that may be the reason.

I'm going to give it a day or so. See if it stops. If it doesn't I will be fragging it. Two pieces which I will retain.

Probably will end up with three or four additional pieces of varying sizes. If you want one, just post below and be prepared to pick up quickly. If you want to trade something, cool, but bottom line is that these pieces will be free.

I will post a picture of the colony later when the lights turn on.

Nah, this has happened before, right around the time it starts getting too big. The first time it freaked me out and I must have made 40 frags trying to save it. Then I had four pieces that kept getting bigger and bigger, until I got rid...

Nah, these things happen. I believe this one lasted longer because I followed mike texreefers advice to thin out the branches. But I fell behind on that as well.

Yep, but once it starts receding it doesn't stop once back in the light.

No, not that I'm aware of. Got it from Giau about 3 years ago. He called it tyree green BN. Brilliant metallic green under LED... Purple yellow and tiedye on some websites as a wysiwyg ;-)

Here are the frags you can choose from, but I'd like to give them a week or two to ensure you don't take home a white stick.
