Do they at least have a cool indoor pond and a shark tank like their website says?

i was planning to when they open the doors this morning after i saw the 50% off tag but than figured maybe there prices r way to high to sustain this offer and than again i dnt blame them being as a big franchise store this was expected.. I' ll still go after work check em out cant miss to check a new fish store in the hood

16614 colonies of xenia were 109 bucks. There was some stuff that was a decent price with the 50% off deal. But i hope these aren't normal day to day prices.

Yea they have really high prices on a few things. Like 89.99 on the yellow tangs and with 50% off it would still be to high. But if you look closely they put a few things in incorrectly and they are super cheap. Like I picked up 6 scarlet hermits which they had on another thank for 8$ but they are on the other side as red legs for .85 cents. And there is yellow head jawfish for only 18$ which is really cool because I have been looking for one of those. And yea my boys picked up a tank lol.
Ps . If you want the hermits there are still a lot left just right above the bigger clownfish tank.

Haha, yeah, I found that kind of coincidental as well. Everything seemed to be exactly twice what it should be normally. $100 flame angels (even though you can find them for $30) and skunk cleaners for $50...

There were some hidden gems...like I picked up two photosynthetic gorgonians that were HUGE for $12.50 each (they were half off) and a blasto frag with excellent color and two heads for $15 (half off again...) but outside of that, on the saltwater side they are pretty high on prices.
Big_Pun
Mon, 1st Oct 2012, 05:12 AM
actually there prices are correct we are just used to our LFS prices as they take a big hit on profit to compete with eachother then we complain about prices there. kinda of eye opener with this new store for some folks, remeber that next time you try and haggle prices at our sponsor shops.

I saw those, I thought they were kind of cheap but I don't know what gorgos normally go for, so I couldn't tell. I *almost* bought one though.
