The impeller on my sro-3000 broke. Need some input on whether or not I should replace the impeller ($90 for a new impeller) or just get another pump. Of course another bubble blaster 3000 costs a lot so I'm looking at other options. Thinking Sicce psk-2500. Has anyone had any experience with these pumps? Will be enough juice for the sro-3000? Or is there another after market pump that will work better? Any advise/input is appreciated!

I think I have a extra sicce laying around.... Have to check..

Only problem with These pumps from my experience is they have a hard start up.... I even bought a new one thinking it was the pump, nope new one did it too.....

K thanks. Glad to hear that about the 2500. I have the skimmer pump and powerhead on the same standby for feedings so a hard start wouldn't work out. Will look into the 600 and 1000.

That's what sucks with my skimmer....

Getting it going is a pain.... Sorta like that ol lawn mower... Lol but when it runs, it kicks ***..

I too am looking into the 600 now, thanks for the info Chris. Just have to find out if output is the same size...

Looks like I'm going with the Sicce 1000. The air pull is lower then the BB but it costs about as much as the dang impeller for the BB. Thanks again for the input Chris!
