I was over there the other day and the thing was absolutely radiant, all fluffy and sitting there, pretty as you please.
I'd be all over this if I didn't already have the same coral in my tank.

One shot, one kill...
Well, a very slow trigger pull on this one. It's still available for now. I had a realization that I'm gonna fork out almost $900 this week for tanks and rock... I gotta see what the wife thinks.

How hard is it to maintain that Coral?
I just added my very first coral Branching hammer, It's looking pretty good for being in the tank for 4 days. No idea if I can keep that one alive though. I would hate to get such a nice piece and have it die because my tank is only running for a month.
Opinions?

It's a good medium care LPS coral. It's photosynthetic but does benefit from regular feedings.

After re-reading your post, I'd say wait a bit. There's a level of maturity and stability that would need to be reached before you'd wanna add this.

I'd place the brain in the beginner zone. Super easy. Light and feed once or twice a week.
It also helps if you tape calculus formulas on the outside of the tank near the brain.

Oh, and I'd wait till your tank seasons a bit more.
