Hey Guys i just got a new tank and it came with a Chiller, do i need a chiller, can i resell it, should i keep it? not sure of the brand, i can look tonight when i get home. Whats Everyone Thoughts.:confused:

agree... set up your system and if you have heat issues then you will have a chiller that will solve your heat problems. If no heat issues after your system is running stable...then sell it.

someone told me that the chiller use Electricity like crazy and my bill will go up? true not true, i know its going to go up but alot or alittle?

all depends on how much your tank temp needs to be dropped...... and how big your chiller is. "charge it to the game" !!!

I've got a 1/3hp arctica chiller on standby for when my tank goes online. I will not part with it until I'm sure I won't have heat issues. Yes, it'll run up your electric bill. How much depends on how much it needs to come on. It'll also dump a bunch of heat in the room it's in. Unless you route it through the wall and keep it outside...
This hobby has made me want to buy a house like no other hobby I've got!
