And look at my skimmer? It's been running 3 weeks now and no skimmate, i empty the cup every few days of evaporated water but its crystal clear.

What brand of Skimmer do you have? What size tank? Hob or is it in the sump? What a the water height that the Skimmer is setting in? What's the age of the tank? What's the bioload? Have you usedany chemicals or anything, sometimes those can mess with a skimmers production.

Try raising the skimmer up about 1.5 to 2.25 inches. And setting it on something, I know 8.25 is in the operation level for those skimmers but the sweet spot seems to be like 6-7" ime.

Is it producing foam? If it's not producing foam with long lasting bubbles, either it's not set up right, or you just have no bioload. It IS a new tank...

I'd stop by, but just got back from Port A last night. We won't be back there until a week from this friday. PM me if you still have had no luck.

Will do, I am starting to think I just dont have a big enough bioload.

I have 100 gallons maybe more of water volume with 4 small fish, 6 snails, and some cheateo.

I noticed a little algea growing inside the skimmer at the bubble line today so perhaps it will take off one of these days.
