I have very very small white particles floating around in my tank.

I use filter floss and sponge but it is getting through it.

Any one else have this issue? How did you fix it?

Thanks in advance...

Ive placed a powerhead on the top causing ripples. Works

So were you getting protein film built up on the top? I'm unsure how directing water at the surface fixed your floating particle issue.

Mine broke up the surface so my overflow could pull it to my filter.

Oh, LOL...I thought you were the OP when I replied. Breaking up the surface will prevent protein buildup, but I don't think it will have much affect on floating particles which is what the OP has; I think. You need some means of mechanical filtration to catch those.
