I think this is an acan but the heads on it are so much larger than what I traditionally see labeled an acan:

I'm not great at identifying corals but, this has the look of a scoly to me.

I was thinkinhg scoly because the polyp in the foreground is the size of a silver dollar and the one behind is larger...I just thought that scolys were single polyps that dont make colonies. More importanly, the wife loves it and wants different colormorphs of it :cool:

Looks like a Scoly to me as well...

But your right, I don't think they form colonies..... I could be wrong though.

Could it be a lobo brain? The polyps inflated are touching but there are good gaps between the bases. Colony looks like a smaller version of this one:

if it isnt touching at the base of each poylp, then you are probably right with lobo
