Why my Xenia has looked like crap lately. Looks as though this emerald crab has taken a liking to it!

Put some seaweed on a clip. That rascal will pull it into its burrow and should leave the xenia alone. refill the seaweed when empty.
lol good pic. little rascal.

I had a thread several months ago asking if emerald crabs would eat xenia....because mine disappeared over night. I was pretty sure the consensus I got was that they can't/won't. We were talking about xenia disapperaing yesterday in another thread actually as well.
Was he picking on the xenia or just around it?

Huh, my Emerald bear hugs my Kenya tree just like in the pic of your Emerald attaching to your Xenia.
However, my emerald does that every night...for at least the last month.
But he eats the seaweed on a clip that I put in the tank every other day.

I've seen him "hugging" the Xenia before but last night I noticed him actually picking at it. I put some algae strips in the tank hoping he'll go for that instead
