I bought 2 Maxspect Mazarra p modules for my 75 gallon tank.

I wanted to buy 4 but Fiance put her foot down with spending 1100 bucks on lights.

She said if two wont do it we can discuss it further. I'm hoping 2 will do it. I wanted to but really didnt want to buy 4 units. LOL

Now heres hoping they don't release a new model in 6 months.

I would have gone with the mazarras if I bought off the shelf; I think they have some of the fuller spectrum fixtures on the market. The only bad thing I heard about them is their mounting system is cheap/weak. I thought the mounting options look awesome, but no first hand experience here so I can't speak for quality. How are you hanging them?

Or you could have gone with 2 Kessil A350W's like I did for $800 and had plenty of light.

Yes they just released the Razor. However, I can not swap the LED's in the razor. I dont care what anyone says I doubt a led will last 11 years, with the mazarra I can change the bulbs as technology advances.

As for the Kessil Man you are sack riding those lights hard. I see you on RC, and here and god knows where else promoting them, I am starting to think you work for them. As for why I didnt choose them

A) they are pendents,
B) they are on off non programmable ~ I may be wrong on this but IIRC they only have dimmers
c) I wanted more spectrum than white and blue
d) Im stuck with whatever LED's they put in them
e) they are a brand new product with no history at all
f) I think there are better products for the money - AI Sol, Mazarra S, DIY, but kessil comes in number 4 on my list of off the shelf lights.

I didn't know that about the razor, I do like the maxspects better though.... I wanted them, right until CS said I would need 5 over my 110..
