I have seen these little guys in person and they are pretty bright! They come in a variety of bulb temps and number of leds as well.

Also, if you want xenia again, lmk I have several frags.

Offer goes twice here for the pulsing xenia.

Tell us about your tank and welcome to maast. How long has it been up and running?

I've upgraded from an evolve2, I had that one running for about 2 1/2 months. Everything grew beautifully but I really want a fish. Nothing died on me till I went on vacation, I immediately did a water change when I got back and my Xenia started dying everything else survived happily. Now my tank looks empty and I have poor lighting so my corals aren't growing as nice as they did before. I just took that light off and put it on the 5 gallon. As for the light it says evolve 8LED. It's been running for about 2 weeks now.

I'll get a better pic shortly. As far as an id, green I'm told. Lol. I'm not sure. I'm colorblind and I just know when I see what I like!

Add carbon in a mesh bag. What happened to cause it do you think?

it looks like a tint of green in the water. I've been feeding my flower pot phytoplankton and its that deep green, i was thinking maybe the filter was soaked with it or something? what does the carbon do?

I would think the problem is the phyto... How much are you feeding and how often?

What are you using for filtration?

And chemi pure is really good or such a small tank... But get the elite as it has GFO.

If it's the phyto... you should start doing small water changes after you feed phyto, in that small of a tank you do not have enough biological filtration to remove the excess food.

Nice tank.

3 drops every day, but I've been adding like 3 more drops cause it was looking kinda sad. Ok, thats what I was thinking. I have an aqueon quiet flow 10. Also my hermit molted 3 days ago and I don't see it in its shell, i've never seen it look so empty :( i hope its not dead??

I would stop feeding and do a water change ASAP.

Phyto if I do.... I only feed very little in my 110... But I feed only once a month maybe twice..

Im betting that's what it is..

the guy at the store told me every day :/

All tanks are different...

With yours being so small you have to Becareful how much and what your throwing in there...... That's the problem with little tanks, they can get out of whack pretty fast....

I might be wrong but even I wouldn't be adding phyto in my tank daily without expecting a algae bloom or some other problems to arise...

Its not your fault, it's a common mistake... I have had blooms of all types of stuff but with a decent skimmer and CUC, it gets taken care of quickly.. Plus keeping up with your water changes is key, especially in nanos..
