Not bad. I was curious how those cheap filters would work, I ended up getting a set of extension tubes instead which were like $60 and a PITA to deal with so I don't ever end up using them. At least they have contacts so the AF still works, but I am going to have to look into getting a set of these filters now that I know they do something worthwhile. People were trying to get me to buy the Canon filters, like $150 a piece and only one size. I still want that Canon EF 50mm macro lens though.

I love that Duncan. That has to be one of my favorite corals.

Yes I ordered one tube aswell and been playing with these filters more.... They work.

Maybe not the best but will have to do until I sale a kidney and buy the lens I really want..

What lens are you using with these? And what kind of working distance are you able to shoot at? And how does that differ from the lens without the filter? :D

That's one thing about tubes, working distance is uber close.

I am using the standard 18-55mm lens. The kit comes with a 1x,2x,4x,10x magnification so you dont have to be too close, maybe 6-12"......

Which magnification did you shoot these pics with? I get better macro shots with my POS than I do my DSLR right now.

10x on the last acan. The others either 4x or the 10.

nothing has been altered. The leds are dimming down now.....

Great set of lenses. Cant beat the price. I have had a set for a while. At that price you cant lose.

I believe so...... Just aslong as you order them for your lens size.

Cameras are another addiction, I wouldn't mess with her camera.... Lol

I really do want a real macro lens, just not really wanting to dish out that much for one.... I don't really understand cameras yet and for some reason can't grasp the stuff I've been reading...
