Aaaand, again with the coral eating

Gah. My Copperband has been fine in the reef for months, not bothering anything. Today he decides to eat my pink and green open brain. They had just had breakfast, I guess this was his dessert. This will not do. Pump off, remove the two rocks he hides behind, grab the nets, and it's ON. Jerk.

Note: fish are easy to catch when they jump out of the tank and are flapping around on the floor. He's in the aggressive holding tank now, and will go into the predator tank.

Sigh, no big fish in my reef, again. Lots of little colorful fish, but I did so want a centerpiece fish. Guess it's not to be.

that is not all that out of character for a copperband, we have had many issues with them in the past. i bet you are tired of catching fish sherita

I dunno, but I'm about ready to lose it. He was the centerpiece of the tank, and just had to go and screw it up. He took CHUNKS out of the brain before I could catch him, but the coral will recover. Guess I know what happened to my sunset monti now.

Thankfully the rest of the fish shouldn't be an issue (now you just watch, since I said that.........). Longnose hawkfish, Blue Threadfin Flasher Wrasse, Yellow Coris, trio of Zebra Barred Dartfish, Candy hogfish, Orange Anthias, Blackfin Soapfish Mandarin, Scooter blenny. At least I HOPE they won't be a problem, they would be impossible to catch.

Beginning to wonder if I could just do a coral only system with no danged fish.

Ace, I am very tired of catching fish.

I'm gonna get me some of those little battery operated fish for my reef. THEY won't eat my corals, ROFL!

Now I gotta figure out a new centerpiece fish for my reef.
