Looking to trade my MP40w ES for a small nano system. Bought new through MCC a few months back. Includes filter pad for wet side and manual.

Let me know what you have. Must be in good/like new condition.

UPDATE:

ok, entertaining offers to trade the MP40w ES for an MP10w ES in like new condition and still under warranty.

my estimation...
MP40w ES used value still under warranty, less than a year old: $400
MP10w ES used value still under warranty, less than a year old: $200

The difference will be $200. $200 Cash or $100 cash and $100 coral trade. Jeremy got me going on this idea but not certain we are going to be able to work something out and I'm still not sure I want to get out of the 40...but I guess for the right deal I'll do it.

Looking for RBTA, Acans, premium chalices and zoa/palys.

These sell for around $465-$500 new and I could get about $400 for mine with only a couple months of use on it. So, looking to get about the same value in trade. I will consider partial tank/cash trades as well.

Did this not workout on your 29 Rob?

Did this not workout on your 29 Rob?

actually it worked perfect and I love it..but Jeremy got me thinking about this darn trade which I don't really want or need to do but I got hooked on the possibility of getting some new coral and or some cash but honestly I don't know what the heck I'm doing. I'm kind of nervous about getting into an MP10 though because I like short pulse mode and will probably have to run it at 70-100% on an MP10...I don't like the short pulse mode noise. Don't hear it on the 40 that much at 40%.

Do I need an MP40 on the 29? No.
Do I want to sell the MP40? No, but if I do then I need at least an MP10 because of heat issues from other pumps.
Do I want more coral? Always.

Would you like to borrow an mp10 to see how it will do on the cube? Before you jump on that granade and make a commitment? I have one i just put on my 40 gallon build as i just started adding corals. You can see if it is acceptable.

i know it will work fine I'm just not certain I want to deal with the noise on short pulse mode. I had 2 mp10's before, that's my only concern. Thanks though. Are you interested in the trade?

What kind of corals are you looking for? I might be interested in trading.

I might be interested. But dont have the cash to throw down currently. And not too many corals to toss up either.
