Anyone have any thoughts or ideas of where to put an MP-10 in our 40 Solana? I like lots of flow as does everything else in the tank. But I still have dead spots... Thoughts anyone????

Pic below shows its current location.

Yup!!...... I want a second for my 20 long but I don't want to pay.... Lol

Can you take off that other wave maker thing on your return and put a nozzle to aim towards your dead spot?...

I found it actually restricted alot of flow when I had it on my aqua pod... You have a MP10 now, put that thing on NTM and call it a night...

first use auto tune to make a wave then save it. then put in nutrient extract mode and it will use the wave you saved through out the day.

I got a 30 gallon cube. 20X20X19. I put my MP10 right in the middle of the L side like you. Use the random reef crest mode at max power and it works great. I just got it 2 weeks ago. I love it so much that I think I will get 2 more for my 65 g tank

Tank looks great Eve. EcoTech has some very simple vids to follow along for tuning EcoSmart drivers. You'll be able to remove deadspots with two pumps synced together.

Here is a vid to set the auto tune wave. I agree with Chris on setting the auto tune wave and then setting to Nutrient Transport Mode (NTM).

And here is the manual:

I think I will try the wave mode auto tune, then nutrient transport as suggested above. Will see how it work out.
