I am looking for a 36" light fixture. No PC lights. T5, MH, or LED. Let me know what ya got and how much ya want for it. I also have some extra gear laying around I might be able to trade for. Thanks,

I think milly has one. Are you planning on lighting the big tank with fixtures?

I have two 250 MH's and a single AI Sol to stick between the MH's for the 190. The 36 is for a 40 gallon breeder Tuan snagged for me from petco that I am turning into a frag tank then breaking down and selling the 125... maybe. Going to do a lot of shelf rock off of the overflows to try and free up as much sand space as possible with a small island in the center.

Sounds promising. 500 watts of light is more than what I ran. Your growth will be outstanding.

I need to get rid of some stuff to clean up my sandbed as well.

I have visions ha ha. I hope I can get it going sooner rather than later. Sanding the stand and retightening stuff down right now. Going to do a light stain on the stand and canopy.

I really miss that tank. But I'm loving the new tank. My next one will be constructed inside my new home with plenty of god's light coming through the roof. It will be epic.

How big will the next one be? I like ace's setup. Once i get somewhere and settled down I would like to do solar tubes with an inwall design. Nothing massive. I look forward to seeing that build Allan ha ha. Even once I move on I'll have to be a lurker on here to watch that build.

I saw it was a 30. Thanks Milly. Trying to cover from edge to edge. Much appreciated though.

I'm thinking that I'm going to conscript Ace and a few others to build the tank inside. I'm thinking a thousand gallons, and deeper than what is the norm. I may build it with the intent to clean from within :)

I'd like to have the capacity to grow a full fledged reef and keep some animals that aren't reefsafe as well. In other words, keep a large enough colony growth to support the munching of one or two angels with little to no effect on the coral. I don't really know, just thinking out loud.

I have to find a job first. I'm dropping papers this November, unless I get a job offer sooner than that... Either way, I have a year from the date that I drop the packet.

I literally just pictured you floating around in your tank with a snorkel and mask cleaning the glass ha ha. That would be something to see. That would be a cool to see that interaction of the fish and corals. I feel like even in a tank that big they would graze it down pretty quickly. You would have to dedicate some serious time and effort on that beast.

Ready to get out and enjoy the free life? ha ha. I'm jealous. Must be nice to be done.
