So I have a lot of fairy dust palys in my tank that I need to remove. I can't take the rocks out so I have to do it under the water. I tried to pull some off the other day but it didn't work to well. They just spew brown stuff out. I tried to find a video on YouTube but I couldn't find anything. Anyone have a good easy way to do this? Ill give the plays to anyone who can help me out with an idea.

I have 4 good size frags I'm willing to give away as well. Those things grow like weeds! They're beautiful under actinic, but I don't want my tank covered in them.
I just yank them off. Start at the base, pull lightly until you feel a tear, then rip with full force. I squish and destroy 3/4 of what I remove, but they grow so quick it doesn't matter.
I know you're supposed to be cautious about the goo they ooze... but I run carbon when I demolish them and wash my hands thoroughly, and I've had no problems.
If you leave any tissue, they will regrow. If you want them gone entirely, remove as much as you can, then scrub the spot with a tooth brush. Scrub again in a few days. Don't put any other frags in that spot for a month or so, so you can be sure they aren't coming back. I've had them sprout up after a few weeks around other zoas, now I have to be more careful removing them.

Get a laser. Www.lazerer.com I use the 1.2 watt and it easily handles stuff like that

Which laser and how much do they cost? Seems like they would be a lot just for something like this.

A screw driver, or a frag of fairy dust zoas?
If the former, no. If the latter, I have one you can have.

The thing is I can get the rock out of the tank. It's on the bottom and I'm not tearing the tank up just to get it out. Thanks anyways.
