Hi everyone, my name is Kim and I'm a long time lurker! I thought I would finally introduce myself. I've only been in the salty side of the hobby for 3 years or so. I have a modest 27 gallon tank with a tailspot blenny, 2 dragonface pipefish, a bluestripe pipefish, a gulf pipefish (thanks, Jeremy!), various crustaceans, macro algae, a couple of zoas, etc. It's not the most colorful or impressive tank around, but I find it endlessly fascinating! :hypnotyized: I'm in the planning stages of a 65 gallon seahorse tank. I sold a couple of guitars, so I now have the cash to start buying goodies. I'm super psyched!
I called in sick to work today, so back to the couch for rest, and back to lurker mode. Nice "meeting" you all, see you around!

Welcome to MAAST... No need to just lurk, we are happy to have you actively participating. That's what the community is all about. :)

When I first joined, I didn't call it lurking. I considered myself a ninja!!

Wow, thanks for all the welcomes and well wishes! Yeah, I need to get some pix of my little tank posted, and start a "build" thread for the 65 gallon (even though I won't be building anything LOL). I need to figure out how to post photos and all that. Hopefully I can have some fun with that this weekend. Thanks again everyone, see ya around! (ninja... Heh heh...)

Hello Kim, I'm Jim in Schertz also. I have a 55 gallon saltwater tank I just started this past May. So the tank is still going thru the "cycling" process but is safe enough to start adding stuff. So far I've got 3 damsels, 2 clowns, a yellow tang, a banded coral shrimp, and various snails. So far everything is doing great. Got some small corals that are slowly growing. I'm fairly new to the saltwater thing too, I've got a friend who's been helping me out and educating me. Welcome to the group.

Hi Jim, thanks for the welcome! Sounds like your tank is coming along nicely. It's always nice to have someone who can help you out.. that's why I came out of lurk mode. I'll need the guidance and advice of everyone here while I'm setting up my 65 gallon seahorse tank. :) See you around!
