My Apex Lite just came in and it has my head spinning. I'm way too used to DA's interface and this has me super confused. Any experienced users want to come help me get this setup? I'm definitely willing to trade frags for help on this one.

I don't need networking help, just basic setup.
Need to program:
Return
Skimmer
Heater
ATO
I'm just not understanding their programming logic yet.

that's exactly why love my RKE!! I helped a buddy with his apex and it took a while to get it. best thing to do is look on reef central for threads.

I wish DA would just stay up to date with current products. I wouldn't have switched if it wasn't for Vortech/AI control.

this is how mine is setup under everything in advanced settings...gves a little bit more control..
return and skimmer and ATO same settings bc u always want em on
Fallback ON
Set ON
If FeedD 000 Then OFF
heater
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Temp < 77.0 Then ON
If Temp > 77.0 Then OFF
I am using tunze ozmo for ATO which has its own controller that cannot be controlled my apex...unless u hve a apex breaker box then its different story...
my feed modes r set as follows
feed A 5min
feed B 10 min
feed C 15 min
feed D 45min for water changes

also if u hve a kalk reactor hooked up with ur ATO
i will also add
IF PH >8.5 Then OFF
so it wont keep dumping kalk in ur system and will send u signals that ATO is off now

The WXM controls the vortech's wirelessly, you can switch modes throughout the day, run night mode without having to press the stupid button combo's. It can do a storm mode with the AI's and Vortech's. It's pretty cool.
The ALC does work with AI's, but doesn't control the blues independently and cannot do moon lighting. Pretty limited, to the point I bought the AI controller.
I love DA's interface, but there just so limited compared with Neptune and Profilux are offering.

Thanks Lucky, I got the first three to work, but I'm having a problem with my ATO, it's just not turning the outlet on when the float switch trips. It may be an issue with my float switch. I'll keep playing with it.

Some ATO's say specifically not to plug it to a controller.

Yeah, I'm using the breakout box.
I don't really have a packaged ATO, just the Apex, an Aqualifter and some float switches.

Bad float switch, it's working now.
