Carbon grayed my tank..??

Two days ago i changed out the carbon..I rinsed it out.But im guessing not good.The tank has been gray for 2 days..Now its starting to clear up but is there any way to clear it up faster in case this happens again>? or to clear it up more now>?

The same thing happend to me but it was cause the flow from the overflow was crushing it and sendit into the display

Use some carbon.....j/k
