$1 per gallon Tank sale

I went to petco (off 410 next to the Ingram mall) today to get some items for our dogs. I figure I ask the manager when they would have there annual $1 per gallon tank sale. I was told that it would be this Sunday. That they had gotten a large shipment of tanks. I got home and called other stores to confirm, no one would confirm the sale. one store (on Highway 10 and dezavala) told me that they don't give that information out :thumbs_down:. But she could tell me that they also had received a large shipment of new tanks , which was a good indicator to a possible sale this weekend. I did get confirmation from the petco on san pedro and 410 that they are having the sale this Sunday.. So be on the look out. I know I will swing by to possibly snag a quarantine tank..

We got a couple of tanks on this sale about a year ago and it ended up being a lifesaver (literally)! It's really great to pick up a couple of tanks on the cheap.

Last time it did, but they sell out fast and you might need to check a different store.

Shane I think the biggest you can get is a 40b

We found a 40breeder last time but had to hit a couple Petco's to find it. They say that the biggest they offer in this sale is the 55g, but those must sell out the first 5 minutes of the sale so no one ever has those in. Maybe if you really scope out the selection you can snag one of those deals.

Thanks for the heads up. Just getting started and learning as much as I can. Going slowly, so now have ro/di unit and 20 gallon QT. There was a 55 gallon this morning at the Vance Jackson De Zavala location.

I also picked up a 20 gallon. I was out of town in Houston , called a local petco and they also had the sale. To good of a deal to pass up.

Picked up a 40gal as well. There was three 55gals left when i left work today and alot of 20s. Se military location
