What is the max size fish I should keep in my quarantine tank if the tank is only a standard 10 gallons? This is the only tank i have now and am expecting to get some fish that I want to quarantine before putting them into my tank.

Well normally its to destress them from the whole process and give them a chance to adjust and eat. If you have a big fish in a little ten. Or too many fish. It won't be very destressing. Might be the opposite. I have a little ten with lots of rock to hide. Macro and a small cuc. The light is nothing bright. Its a crappy t8. But it does the job. The biggest i'd toss in there and not feel like a jerk?... Maybe 3".

I use a 40 gallon breeder $40 with a $15 Pond Foam filter (Lorraine taught me this one) for a QT tank.
