Looks like there is a strong possibility that I will be picking up a 37g setup by end of week/weekend.

I have seen pics but want to see it in person before I commit.

Specs:

37g Oceanic Cube light oak with stand, RR which was actually drilled and overflow made by Ace
Ace made approx ~25g Sump, that fits in stand perfect
plumbing included
Mag 5 return pump
Koralia 3 Pump
15watt T5 fuge light and 130watt PC lights for the tank (PCs will most likely be traded out for a 250w MH Pendant or LEDS)
~40-50lbs of Live rock

all at excellent price.

So I would be short a Protein Skimmer and sand to get it going. Although I am not a huge fan of the Light Oak color and it doesn't match anything in the house so I may change that with a light sand and some primer/ black paint.

I may be jumping the gun without seeing it, but its coming from a good guy. I am looking forward to being back in the SW game.

Will post a update probably Thursday. Hopefully with tank in the house!

Picked it up tonight. It needs a good cleaning and the stand does need a refinish, but all in all its in good shape. Im going to paint it black anyhow. My biggest annoyance is scratches on glass and there are some fine scratches on the glass, its dirty so it hard to tell how bad they are though. Fingers crossed. Im hoping a good cleaning with some vinegar will do the trick and once it gets filled with water you wont see them. I got about 40lbs of liverock or so that I got in some fresh salt water to cycle while I get everything else ready.

Will post some pics here soon.

Arrggh! I have to decide if I want to keep it. I filled it with water this morning and there are more scratches than I thought. You do not see them if you are standing and looking at it but when you get close you can. Ive seen a lot of setups like this and it probably would not bother most but that bothers me a lot. Its nice and reef ready but im one of those people where im going to notice them every time....

thanks rob, think im going to have them replace the front and the 2sides. The back glass is good and drilled. Going to have basically a new tank sealed and ready to rock. I got a good deal with the 40-50lbs of rock, sump and pump so its not a huge loss. More of a hic-up in the set up time.

right on and it's a cool looking tank... the dimensions rock

Funny thing about rock...it costs an arm and a leg and when you sell it you get pennies for it, I vowed to never sell rock again... especially all of the tonga branch pieces that I have collected over the years.
