The lovelli is quickly becoming my fav acro.

What lens are you using for these pics? I just cannot seem to get anywhere close to this calibre photos with my camera.

It's more practice than the lens. I mainly use the 18-55mm kit lens. The trick to actinic shots is finding a good white balance to get accurate colors. Usually a red setting will help knock ou the extra blue in the tank. I think hobogato used a red filter on his lens to get great actinic shots. Also try and shoot the coral perpendicular to the glass. Any angles and you get ghosting on your image from the light reflecting out of the tank. Also turn your iso to auto or as high as you can go without getting a grainy pic. Since your shooting in low light you need the higher iso to help get a faster shutter speed. And forget about getting fish pics under actinics. They move way too much to get a sharp pic in low light.
