I am getting ready to set up my New Suspended Hood for my 125Gal Oceanic Tank that is 6 Feet long and 24 Tall. And would like some feed back as to what light spectrum would be best to go with the 400Watt MH 20K XM Bulbs?

I was planning on just two VHO's front and back and the MH in the middle?

And Where is the best place to purchase VHO Bulbs?

Thank You in Advance.

URI is about the last VHO bulb producer I know of. Their super actinic bulbs are still the best colored vho bulb ever produced (IMHO). Aquarium Designs had them last time I checked, but they weren't cheap.

I did a search for them on Amazon last year and found a dealer that sold the 48" bulbs for $20 a piece.

From what I have found URI is now UVL. At MarineDepot the 72 inch Shipped for four comes to $38. and change each.

Yeah, I knew they had changed, but wasn't sure if it was URI to UVL or the opposite. Still the same bulb and still the best actinic outside of ATI's t-5 bulbs. I've even tried the UVL t-5 actinic and it isn't even close to their VHO color.
