Anyone have Extra gfo

Just spent 30 dollars on kent phosphate sponge not realizing this is a ceramic medium not granular ferric oxide and don't wanna order gfo now that I've accidentally spent. I would appreciate the help :)

Love to help you out, just don't have any spare GFO. Don't have any at all for that matter.

Well at least you reply :) I just don't know anything about ceramic media how much to use or negative affects, and research does not unveil a thing

kent Marin phos sponge is safe for fresh and salt. as for dosage it doesn't really say but I would use it until phos test shows 0 or until the test start showing measurable phos levels. instructions state to use from 8hrs to 2 days use.

I have about half lb of high capacity gfo but at $36 a lb I won't give it away. you can have it for $10
