If any water got on the carpet, get a floor fan ASAP. I just dealt with the same issue a month ago. Mine went from tile to carpet so I was able to get a fun UNDER the carpet to get the padding dry. Once again, I'm sorry you are going through this.....and take a deep breathe, you will get through it. I know that sounds impossible right now and all you can think of are four letter words, but so long as nobody got hurt and the losses are minimal (as in tank only and not everything under it) things will work out. My tank broke, but I ended up with an amazing rimless because of it. Again, I'm sorry and good luck....and get yourself a 6 pack, or a 12.

Oh and I forgot about the cool boxes on the side of the stand...just to give everyone perspective. I have well over $2000 invested in this, the tank was the cheapest part...now I see why it shouldn't have been.

Thanks...it happened while I was home...on tile and I got the tank drained before a major catastrophe. I was lucky on that part.

Thats what Steve said...I know, I was so excited, was going to be adding livestock this weekend. This set up was amazing, so quiet you would of thought it was in- wall. I was already at my limit budget wise. I just dont know. I really wish someone would just buy the whole set up so I can just move on quickly.

I just had Forever Pets take my 125 6ft wide tank apart and put back together. Im just about ready for the plumbing. Dont sale unless really want too.
You have some great stuff here. Take a break. If you really want a sw tank you will have it.

Ok, I have interest in several of the items. I will post part out prices either tonight or tomorrow. In the meantime please post on this thread what you want to be first in line for so we can keep it organized....thanks. I still want to give priority to who wants everything in one package.

It seems difficult to repair a tank but the people that I know make it look easy. Remember if you get a new tank and stand with a warranty thats great but you will have to buy
all the parts at retail cost. Thats a lot of money. You allready have it.... It will make it that much harder to rebuild. and cost a lot.
wait a couple of days and think about it.

Thanks for the advice...I do appreciate it. One thing that I am absolutley 100% sure about is that I am NOT going to re-use this tank. So if you want it...its yours! You already have the old stand that I gave you last month so it makes sense. The only thing is you need to do is organize a pick up....I recommend borrowing suction cups.

I will...I am jumping on here every so often to see if someone wants the whole package, as for the part out prices I still have not decided on those....please understand, this is a hard descision. If someone made an offer for everything that I though was fair, I would take it , then they could make all or most of thier money back if they parted out. When something like this happens...you just want to be done with it quickly.

I can appreciate your concern about me all of the sudden upping my prices when (and IF) I part out...I can assure you that the prices will be fair. Just do a search in my post history on what I have sold on this site, including a 400gal system that I had about 12k invested that I sold for 3500. Hold tight...and once again I am holding putting any part out prices until I give enough time for someone to buy the whole package. Someone could make some money off of this deal, it makes no sense to put the prices before they are for sale.

OK, Don. Take a DEEP breath.
Mods, please close this thread! :shades:
Now, give it a couple of days, THEN think this thru. We've ALL been thru the "uglies".
Starting next week, look for a brick. It might take a few days. But, once you own a brick, you'll never worry about it again.

The thread can be closed for now, but if another member wants to make an offer on the whole package closer to what I am looking for they can still get it. I have one that I am strongly considering...thanks. I am sorry if I am causing any confusion or problems...this is not what I intended. I fully expected to have it sold by now with such a good deal on the table.
no worries reefer...hold tight man. :)

Don,
Sorry I'm so late. I've removed all the posts that had nothing to do with your sale, lmk if you still want it closed and I will do so when I get to work.
Really sorry your tank went down, Gloria asked me if that could happen to ours. Yep!
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Keep it Don, if you need some tubs for rock LMK. If you do decide to get out after a week or so of chilling, part it out. You lights are worth the $800 you're asking!

Man, I'm soooooo sorry! I can't believe the bad luck you've had with this set up. The tank was awesome for me, and to hear what happened is disheartening to say the least. I know there was a warranty with it, but not after it's drilled. Was that where it cracked? Sorry I'm late here, but if you need help let me know.

Not your fault man...but I think this tank had some bad luck associated with it. What did you do ...break some mirrors?? JK,:)
I am giving it a week to part out while I cool off like Todd suggested, however if someone makes an offer of $800 I will probably take it.
