Moving help? Tank experience needed

Okay, so me being the new guy here, I'm going to have to ask for help. I'm going to pick up my new (to me) 252 gallon keyhole-shaped tank early this afternoon. I have a trailer and help to get it from the shop to the house. However, I've NEVER moved anything this big. I picked up the MAAST cart from Alton this am to help move it, but it's going to have to go up on its side to get into my house. I have no idea how to safely do this without stressing/cracking/breaking the tank. Anyone who's moved something like this got any ideas for me? Or if any of you are available to loan out your backs/arms this afternoon...my wife will happily provide food/beer in return :)
I'm near 1604 and Nacodoches or Green Mountain area. I'm thinking around 3:30 this afternoon.

I had to flip mine on its side as well. I just moved the tank to the side of the maast cart and had everyone push it over. Now the only problem I see you might have is the design of your tank since its keyhole shaped it might out a lot of stress of the smaller sides of the tank. Maybe others will chime in though. Your really close to me I'm on 1604 and lookout. Ill be busy today but if you need some help tomorrow I can swing by.

Probably going to need 3-4 guys to move a tank that size smoothly. I had the same concern as Kevin, that the unique shape could put undue stress on the narrower side. You might consider constructing some sort of piece to provide support under that, if that makes sense.

Good luck on the move. There are lots of guys around here who are always willing to step up and help move a tank, but it can sometimes take a few days to coordinate. Hope you get some responses with the short notice.

How did the move go? Personally I wouldn't rush it. I'd wait until you get some serious help. Not worth breaking such a unique tank.

Worked out okay. Had 4 guys and the MAAST cart, went more smoothly than I expected...lol. Now I'm working on the plumbing so I can get water and rock cycling in it :)

I just saw this post. Sorry. I'm usually around for moves. I've was armpit deep in my tanks all day till my better half yelled at me to get ready for the zoo trip!
