Joined here awhile back, haven't been very active, but I did charter up last night. I have never owned a saltwater tank, have always loved them. Had freshwater tanks a good part of my younger life. But that's another story. Will soon be getting my main tank. And slowly building up all the stuff I need to get started in this amazing hobby.

So ya, HI

Tank? If that is what you are asking. Suppose to pick up a used acrylic 145g tank on Friday. Will be setting up a75 gallon sump/refuge. All being setup for a reef.

welcome to MAAST. Looks like you are headed in the right direction and taking your time to learn. I really wish I had found a club like MAAST when I first got into the hobby. I made some very unresponsible choices with my livestock and rushed things. Unfortunately for the livestock I learned the hard way.

It was so much easier once I found MAAST and was able to ask questions and talk with other reefers. Google searches can sometimes bring back a mountain of information to dig through that all contradicts the next.

Anyways...look forward to seeing what you do.

In part with taking time, majority of it has to do with finances. So while I wait to get it all together I study, read, and do more research and ask when I can't find an answer that doesn't contradict itself ( as you said google does this a lot). It's better than just daydreaming about the tank, lol. And for you learning the hard way you got a lot of beautiful frags. :)

haha, thanks...I also still daydream, guess that's what's so addicting about this hobby, always something else to create, get, master, etc..

Well after reading like 100 pages out of the book I checked out from MAAST's library I am beginning to daydream more, lol.
