why not 250w?? to make a 175w decent you need expensive reflectors any way. really not saving much power consumption or heat.

i would do 2 250w but my dad always complains about how many watts the lights are.

also if i use a 250w with electronic ballast about how much power will i use so i can explain this to my dad lol.

My 250w galaxy ballasts run at 2.09a. So two would be 4.18a. Pretty reasonable.

you could go that route. so you get a 175w bulb x2 your only running 150w less, if you want to save money then only run the 250w 5-6 hours a day and run some t5s also all day.

I talked to him he said it needs new ballast and new bulbs still have tosell my light first

well If your looking for used, you are always going to want to swap out bulbs.... I saw his light last night, they were working, you sure it needed new ballast?

well if I was you, I would scoop it up.

you will not find a more affordable package than what hes letting it go for...., easier to find bulbs and a ballast later on, then a whole working unit with new bulbs...

Lol yeah i do cut yards lol and the only reason i was spending so much cash is because i was working with my brother lol
